Life stressors are real and influence daily life and relationships. We can strengthen our resilience through connection and support. I am here to accompany you on your healing path.
My practice includes individual clients with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma as well as couples and family work. I bring a trauma-informed lens and a love of human diversity. In addition to my training, my path has been shaped by a wide range of teachers, clients, and life experiences.
I draw on a range of modalities, including existential, humanistic, and psychodynamic. I also provide EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), CBT, (cognitive behavioral therapy), and mindfulness-based treatment when appropriate.
I will work closely with you to develop a tailored plan to address your goals.
My Background
I have had the privilege of working in diverse communities and settings. I’ve represented victims of police misconduct, led workshops for women with disabilities in Uzbekistan, and provided end-of-life counseling. Across all of these experiences, I’ve been driven by a deep commitment to helping people tap into their own strength and resilience during difficult times.
I studied developmental psychology and women’s studies at Barnard College, earned a law degree and spent several years working in civil and human rights, including international disability rights. I earned a master’s degree in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, taught a course on death and dying through a cross-cultural lens, and earned a master’s in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute.
I look forward to supporting you.
"Resilience is not the absence of stress, but the capacity to stay connected to ourselves and others in the midst of it." Thomas Hübl
